Bathroom cabinet 2

This is a mixture of antique Victorian style and the rustic homemade style–the symmetry of the Victorian gives it order and balance, the charm of the broken symmetry of the rustic gives it an earthy feel (it is relaxing to not try to get everything perfect given that the wood you are using is not standard machine-made).

The torso of the cabinet is the same width as the washing machine above which it hangs on the wall. The wood is recycled pine and the trimmings are bits and pieces from the local swamp which is overgrown with honeysuckle vines which make interesting deformations on the host tree. The photo is taken with it on the floor–the log wall will be a lighter honey colour.
