I added a head-board to the bathroom cabinet–made from curved branches sliced down the middle long-ways so you get two similar pieces, one the mirror image of the other, then you get a symmetrical pattern (see second photo)–extra bits can be added for effect–the bark remains on for its crusty, rustic detail.
